School of Nursing of Lanzhou University achieved great results in the National Undergraduate Clinical Comprehensive Skills Invitation Contest

On April 28th, the National “Nursing Undergraduate Clinical Comprehensive Skills Invitation Contest” was opened in Shanghai. Under the careful preparation of the nursing school, after fierce competition, the 2015 undergraduate students Li Siyan, Li Wenyan and Zhang Lihong won the second prize in the competition with their astute response, accurate judgment.
 
The competition was hosted by the Nursing Science Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and hosted by the Shanghai Health Medical College. 18 famous universities from Peking University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Fudan University and Central South University participated in the competition. Based on the case and guided by the development of the disease, the competition aims to examine the clinical skills of nursing undergraduate nursing operations, case analysis, laboratory index interpretation, and promote the reform of nursing practice teaching through the form of clinical comprehensive skills competition.
 
Nursing is a highly practical subject, and the cultivation of undergraduate students' practical ability has always been the top priority of higher nursing education. By participating in the Clinical Comprehensive Skills Competition, the School of Nursing will further innovate the practical teaching system, promote the close integration of nursing education and clinical, enhance students' clinical skills, critical thinking ability, humanistic care spirit and teamwork awareness, and comprehensively improve the overall quality of undergraduate students.
