Zhang Caiyun, born in 1963, female, party member, director of nursing department, director of nursing research office, chief nurse, associate professor, is the leading talent of Gansu Provincial Health Department. In2008,she served as the vice chairman of the Gansu Provincial Nursing Association. In 2007, she served as a member of the second editorial committee of China Nursing Management. In 2010, she served as deputy director of the Gansu Provincial Quality Control Center. In 2013, she was a member of the Administrative Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association. In 2013, she was a Editorial Board member of the 8th Editorial Department of Chinese Journal of Nursing.  And she was the chair man of the Gansu Province Surgical care Professional Committee in 2014.

She won the outstanding female workers in the province in 2006, the advanced individual of “three educators” of Lanzhou University in 2007, the excellent nursing manager of the province in 2008, the outstanding member of Communist Party at Lanzhou University, the advanced individual at nursing by National Health System in 2009. She was also awarded the excellent female workers in the province, the Gansu Province March 8 Red-Banner Holders, the advanced individual at the first session of hospital nursing management in 2013 and the outstanding Communist Party member in 2014 at Lanzhou University .

She has directed and completed the province departmental level topic 4 items, which is the research on human resources investigation and configuration of the surgical ward of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University , the research and nursing of heparin-free anticoagulant therapy for CRRT patients with high-risk bleeding, the continuous hemofiltration for H1NI influenza respiratory failure’s Treatment and its mechanism.  She is hosting the provincial-level scientific and technological projects 3 items, which is the investigation of cognitive status of nursing staff in Gansu area, the psychological intervention study of Tibetan wounded rehabilitation after earthquake, and the clustered respiratory therapy to prevent ventilator-associated pneumonia in mechanical ventilation patients. She has 3 scientific research awards. The research on human resources investigation and configuration of the surgical ward of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University won the first prize of Li Xiufang Nursing Technology of Gansu Province. The research and nursing of heparin-free anticoagulant therapy for CRRT patients with high-risk hemorrhage won the third prize of Li Xiufang Nursing Technology of Gansu Province. Early high-frequency oscillatory ventilation in the clinical study of adult severe acute respiratory distress syndrome won the second prize of Li Xiufang Nursing Science and Technology in Gansu Province.

As the editor-in-chief or deputy editor, she completed 11 monographs, obtained 1 patent, and published 15 papers.
